The Derbyshire Partnership Forum is the local strategic partnership (LSP) for Derbyshire as a whole (excluding the city of Derby).  Each district has an LSP to which it relates but central and regional government work thought the Derbyshire Partnership Forum.

One of the key documents for Derbyshire is the Community Strategy.  This has recently been revised and is open for consultation.  The period of consultation was extended until the end of August following the change in leadership of the County Council.  This can be seen at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/partnerships/strategy/ and you can also submit comments here.

A key part of the strategy by which Derbyshire is assessed is the Local Area Agreement (LAA).  This is an agreement with the government by which a substantial amount of funding is allocated.  Details of Derbyshire’s LAA can be found at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/partnerships/local_area_agreement/.

In order to help local voluntary or community groups engage with this agenda and influence it 3D: Third Sector Support for Derbyshire has set up a project called Voice for Derbyshire

Bishop Humphrey and Richard Jordan represent Churches Together in Derbyshire on the Derbyshire Partnership Forum.
