Derbyshire Community Foundation funding surgery for Erewash Thursday 17 May 1.30pm
Erewash CVS, Long Eaton. This annual event is an opportunity to discuss your funding requirements with one of the Foundation’s grants team, in an informal half hour one to one session that is tailored to meet your needs. These sessions can cover discussion of projects and which of the funds administered by the Foundation is suited to your project, help with developing applications you are currently working on, hints and tips for applying for funding in general. There are ten half hour slots, five sessions between 1.30pm and 3.30pm followed by five sessions between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

Coalfields Regeneration Trust Surgery Wednesday 23 May, 10.00am and 3.00pm
Peter Meadows, Regional Programme Manager for the Coalfields Regeneration Trust will be running a funding surgery at SDCVS. The Level 1 grants scheme is still open, and can make grants of up to £5000 to small groups to extend their impact in the local area. (Small means with an income in the last financial year of less than £100,000). Grants can be for both revenue or capital costs, such as small building costs, equipment, venue hire etc. There will be a full list of items available in the Scheme Guidelines.
Areas in South Derbyshire which are able to apply are: Church Gresley Hartshorne and Ticknall Linton Midway; Newhall and Stanton Swadlincote Seales Woodville. Funding, Investment and Support: It’s out there and available – Tuesday 29 May, 2pm – 7pm
A Funding, Investment and Support event for voluntary and community organisations across the East Midlands. The event is open to all voluntary and community organisations seeking funding, investment and support, giving you the opportunity to meet and talk with potential supporters of your group or organisations work. Funders and supporters already confirmed include: BBC Children in Need, Big Lottery Fund, Comic Relief, Charity Bank, Heritage Lottery Fund, Lloyds TSB Foundation, Business in the Community, Groundwork Creswell, Ashfield and Mansfield, Coalfields Regeneration Trust .

The Community Sports Trust has created a Derbyshire 2012 Events Fund
To help support local community groups to host their own sporting and cultural celebration, inspired by the London Olympic and Paralympic Games. Applications are welcome from voluntary groups and clubs, Parish and Town Council's, School PTA's, uniformed groups, faith groups and Community Associations in Derbyshire, who can apply for up to £250. http://www.communitysportstrust.co.uk/CST2012/2012_Events_Fund/
