The Key Fund Wed 11 Apr 10am – 3pm
South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote. The Key Fund supports a wide range of social enterprise ideas with funding from £2000 to £50,000. South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote. UnLtd is a charity which supports social entrepreneurs who have ideas to make a difference in and for the community. The Urban Church & Social Action Conference Friday 16 March
at Christ Church, Fenton in Stoke-on-Trent. This has been organised in conjunction with Archbishops Council Cathedrals and Church Buildings Division Open Churches Conferences programme. The conference will be chaired by the Bishop of Stafford and speakers include Tristram Hunt MP and historian, Tim Bissett, CEO of Church Urban Fund and Lloyd Cooke of Saltbox. Other participants include English Heritage, Churchcare, SPAB, Ecclesiastical Insurance, and Diocese of Lichfield. Healing on the Street (HOTS) Training Conference Friday 2 March, 7:30 to 9:30pm and Saturday 3 March, 9:00am to 3:00

The Eye of the Needle - Biblical Clues to a New Economy Sat 24 March 10.00am—4.00pm

Future of youth activities in Derbyshire - stakeholder consultation events
Just a reminder that Derbyshire County Council are holding a series of evening events around the county as part of their consultation about proposed changes to youth activities. The consultation events run until 29 February. The online consultation questionnaire closes on 18 March.
The council’s Improvement and Scrutiny Committee is also holding a daytime public meeting to listen to views about the proposals. The meeting is on Saturday 18 February starting at 10am at County Hall, Matlock. To book a place please email

Tackling Poverty Conference

Tackling Poverty 2012 is Church Urban Fund's annual national conference for community activists, youth workers, clergy and volunteers tackling poverty in their communities. Join others in exploring issues that affect social action.
