Disability Direct’s new project Enable
has been set up to promote independence and social inclusion for young disabled people. If you are aged between 16 and 25 and are a disabled person living in Derby or Derbyshire then http://www.thestuff.org.uk/ is the site for you!

Working on the project is Young People’s Worker, Naomi Hope:

 “My role is to find plenty of things to keep you busy and stop the boredom!  Whether you want to try a new sport, go to a concert, study a course or become a volunteer…I can help you find it.  Trying new things can improve your confidence, develop your life skills, help you make new friends and become more independent.”
